Loft Access, Storage & Insulation

Local Assist provide loft access and storage solutions for virtually any property from new build properties to apartments to older listed buildings. If you need extra storage or wish to utilise your loft area for more then you are in the right place!

If you are interested in obtaining a quote our surveyor will attend free of charge and will provide a fixed price solution (quotes are valid for 30 days). There will be extra charges from the price we quote, guaranteed.

Depending on the project we can offer an insurance backed guarantee, so you have complete peace of mind.

Our average costs to install new ladder access and board a loft is circa £1400 but prices vary depending on the property and site conditions.
We can also undertake all other house refurbishment works from roofing, kitchens, windows and building works and all works carry the same guarantee of excellence.

Our loft storage solution

We offer a range of loft conversion options. Lofts can be simply boarded out using 600mm x 1200mm tongue and groove boards – these will be raised off the existing ceiling joist with specialist joist raisers to allow the correct depth of insulation underneath to be maintained. Extra insulation can be added if required at an extra cost. More bespoke solutions can also be requested as many homeowners request extra built in storage, lighting and heating.
